What is Pilates
Pilates was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. It was originally called Contrology. It concentrates on strengthening the body, posture, balance, flexibility but especially core strength.
The exercises can be adapted to suit a complete beginner doing basic exercises to someone who is advanced in Pilates working on a more challenginging workout.

Group classes will be no more than 12 people and are held at The Belmont Centre, Uckfield. The classes are 55 minutes long and priced at £8 each, all equipment is supplied but please feel free to bring your own mat should you prefer.

Wednesday Evenings at 6.30pm Beginners/Improvers
Thursday Mornings at 10am Beginners
1-1 and 2-1
1-1 and 2-1 classes are also available for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Please see my price list.

How to book
Please either call or email me to get booked on a class. I will need you to complete a PAR-Q form before your first class, which can be emailed to you.
What to wear
Socks and comfortable clothes that you can move easily in, jeans are not advisable.
